Move over egg peeling, fiery abortion debates, and whatever the QVC hell is going on here  – TikTok live creators have found a new way to hook audiences – hosting impossible “find the item” games on live.

Over the past several weeks, a new genre of engage bait has taken over our For You pages.

“I’m sure you can’t find the 4th object,” reads the text above the trend’s most popular iteration, a bizarre privacy-free bathroom scene, featuring two patrons using the urinals while another looks on from an adjacent toilet, no stall wall in sight.

Though the first three items in question – an egg, a mitten, and an envelope – are almost instantly recognizable, the fourth, a wooden cane, is a bit more challenging, and by a bit more challenging, we mean lowkey impossible.

However, not all the puzzles are unsolvable, this one is an exception to the rule. 

“The reason you can’t find it is cause it’s not in there,” commented @wayner47 on a clip depicting the prompt.

“There is no 4th object it isn't there it says "I'm sure you can't find the 4th object" that's why you can't find it,” quipped @mik3ymazz.

But hey, maybe the cane can be found after all. To paraphrase TikTok user @ericj604,  “The blonde is sitting on it.”
